Dear All,
Current Government advice that we should avoid non-essential contact with other people and social gatherings will, sadly, affect many activities planned in Leys Festival this year. Several events have already been postponed. We do advise all Links to follow Government advice and I confirm that the Leys Festival 2020 planned for 6th June is to be postponed. I will let you know when a new date seems viable. In the meantime, there is much to plan for the future.
On this occasion - I would also like to thank all those who have so far helped in the organization of Leys Festival 2020- (Steering Group, Thames Valley Police, Neighbourhood Watch, and many individual people) This hard work has not been wasted, we will return to continue our activities , now we are focusing on other needs in our community
Many of us have already signed up to the Oxford Hub list to help, and I believe that only by working together, we can minimize the tragic effects of Coronavirus. We believe in people and We believe in community.
With very best wishes to you and your friends and families. Look after yourselves.

“It is lovely, lovely, lovely. It's great to see all the different nationalities, the children playing and everyone doing all sorts of different activities. It shows that Blackbird Leys is such a wonderful place." (Local resident, Leys Fair 2013)
